I've enjoyed Bill's take on life for decades. How did he go off the tracks so badly? I guess people change. His spread of misinformation has become intolerable.

A Great Narration!

I am so glad I ignored the bad reviews for this selection. I the narration style of this audible book. I have several hundred books under my belt as a charter audible member. Yes there are some audio effects here. But it's only for enhancement and a guide for who's words are being repeated...but I guess that was above the iq of the haters of this audio book. Bravo Mr Logan on your performance! I look forward to more ! 👍

A trip down memory lane!
Revisado: 01-04-22
Quite a few revelations in this very personal Frampton bio. As a musician of 45 years myself, I would have liked a little more detail on the technical end of his music making. But the practical side of me knows that would bore most readers. I really enjoyed and would recommend this story even though I feel it could have been edited down a bit. Thank you Peter for sharing, and for all the great music!

When a drug-addled Hunter Biden abandoned his waterlogged computer at a Mac repair shop in Delaware in the spring of 2019, just six days before his father announced his candidacy for the United States presidency, it became the ticking time bomb in the shadows of Joe Biden’s campaign.

I'm conflicted on this one
Revisado: 12-17-21
Lots of basic history. But at times, the narration has a computer like delivery that's seems to be translating from another language. The narrator's voice is pleasant and easy to listen to but he seems to get tripped up on the weird flow of this writer's style along with some obvious sound editing problems. I was looking for more info of the actual practice of Buddhism. But one could argue you need this world history lesson before you can dive into the practice. I did find it amusing reading the awful reviews from some other listeners. Calling one's personal attempt to spread the teachings of Budda "garbage" is so ironic and truly an American by-product of a culture so toxic and in need of some positive direction. 😉

Historia
Behind most major political stories in the modern era, there is an agenda - an effort by opposition researchers, spin doctors, and outside interests to destroy an idea or a person. The tactic they use is the Smear. Every day, Americans are influenced by the Smear without knowing it. Paid forces cleverly shape virtually every image you cross. Maybe you read that Donald Trump is a racist misogynist or saw someone on the news mocking the Bernie Sanders campaign. The trick of the Smear is that it is often based on some shred of truth.

A must read for every American
Revisado: 09-22-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Smear to be better than the print version?
Have not read the print, but I enjoyed Attkisson's reading of her book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Smear?
Attkinsson's coverage of the 2016 election. Mainly because it is still so current.
Which scene was your favorite?
See above
If you could give The Smear a new subtitle, what would it be?
How the media has been hijacked and how it effects you.
Any additional comments?
If you've followed award winning investigative reporter Sharyl Attkinsson's career, then you know she is about as reliable and unbiased reporting source you can find. Attkinsson blows the lid off politics and the world wide media. More jaw dropping expose's in her research to have you applying for ex-pat status. I consider myself a very informed person, gleaming news from both conservative and liberal sources and I am astounded by what is revealed in this book. A MUST READ FOR PEOPLE WHO WISH TO BE INFORMED!!!
