I pray and hope this is probably a too honest or to radical version of society if everything were to collapse with zombies.
this book is absolutely nightmare fuel not recommended for a rape or molested survivors... to traffic for my tast.
I don't enjoy hearing the details of that kind of scenario. definitely makes me want to go out and take out some trash but not something I want to listen to.
otherwise the rest of the story is entirely probable if zombies were a thing and well written.

so far this Series has been awesome and I've actually purchased the physical books for my library.
it's just been a very entertaining story from All Points of View and from the narrators ability to give more character to the characters hehe.

everything in the book sounds so promising but one thing

in the first couple of chapters of the book it instructs you to go to the website which no longer exists. I found Van Dyke's new website and messaged them requesting to all of the necessary PDFs and Excel spreadsheets to complete this book and the exercises. they replied with a link to a server that has been shut down.
I'm not saying the book is worthless. There's some necessary lessons in there if you don't know the lingo to communicate with you're bean counters and good math to apply to life.
But I'm forced to move on and find somebody else to provide the necessary lessons I need... lame.

I'm stopping halfway through the second book.
the first book had so many Loose Ends leaving me with no answers and frustrating questions. I don't even know where to start. the fight scenes were all epically underwhelming. the steamy scenes again underwhelming. got all the dirty words in there but used incorrectly. I
feel like I was reading a history book in fast forward.
the second book, same thing. dude you spent multiple chapters leading up to an epic battle against the Rat-Kin, multiple dragons and then just skipped over it filling in some blank spots of what happened to the king... maximum missed opportunity here! I mean honestly you've inspired me to write my own book because I know my dyslexic / autistic ass could do this better. so thanks for that.
I'm more frustrated that the story lines were politically structured pretty well and had so much potential and were left undelivered in a sense of representation.
I'm not even going to talk about the male narrators, but weak and didn't help your case.

still one of the better lit RPGs I've listen to.

Good series to let RPG. Mr. Ghost hound or Viking you'll get it if you read the book.
I know this isn't a romantic novel but this guy's got to get laid at some point. I mean the pimp of all the prostitutes in zone 1 is literally drooling over him.

what an incredible read!

yeah so basically this book is pretty awesome!
call me a dork but after listening about the main character getting smoked daily because of a gut decision and going against direct orders, got me inspired to get me moving at the gym.
yeah it's a little wordy at times but honestly I geek out on how detailed each step in the operation breakdown went.
last thing, the after action report at the end of this book talking to real army rangers got me pretty excited. At times I had to stop and re-listen to some of their stories.
Great work guys and where's the podcast?
