Lee Strobel’s book The Case for Christ is a must read masterpiece… But this new, eye-opening entry might be his best book since that early classic! Just get it, and read or listen to it right away… You’ll be glad you did!

I just finished listening to this stunningly powerful book from ⁦David Joannes. Every Christian should read it – especially young people. It's a collection of stories about heroes of the faith who have courageously gone into the world to love and serve people, and to share the life-giving message of the gospel with them. It's inspiring; it's challenging; it's informative — it will help shape your view of the world and your mission in life... And it's written by a veteran leader who knows of what he speaks; David is serving and leading out on the mission frontier. Highly recommended!

William Booth lived a life and led movement that was all about serving people in the name of Jesus while presenting them with the life-changing and eternity-altering gospel of Jesus. That balanced approach to ministry changed the world, and it’s a shining example for everyone who wants to follow and serve Christ.

This short book about Booth will undoubtedly inspire and challenge you — as it did me.

This (audio)book is both sobering and encouraging. Shocking to hear how many Christians have maligned and mistreated Jewish people in the past (and sometimes still in the present), but encouraging with a positive message of love, support, and hope for Jewish people everywhere. An important and hopeful read (or listen). Highly recommended.

This book is fantastic! But more than being just an exciting and often jaw-dropping story, it contains valuable lessons for every reader. Regardless of your religious perspective, let this account of unlikely life-change inspire you, give you hope, and warm your heart to the one who loves you the most.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely. The stories are powerful and encouraging -- and give us hope for every person (including ourselves)! Also the author, Lee Strobel, reads it himself. He does a great job, and his voice inflects just the right amount of feeling/emotion.

What other book might you compare The Case for Grace to and why?

Maybe The Case for Christ, though that one is more cerebral -- it feeds the mind, primarily, whereas this one feeds the heart.

Have you listened to any of Lee Strobel’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Strobel seems to always do a good job, but this one is the easiest to listen to, because it's almost all stories of real lives, touched and transformed by God.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, the chapter called "The Orphan" -- one of the most powerful and hard-hitting stories I've ever heard!

Any additional comments?

Regardless of your religious (or non-religious) views, I think this audiobook will encourage you in deep and lasting ways. Give it a try!
