More than I expected.

These teachings far surpassed my intentions for engaging with this book. Not only did i learn techniques and context for dreams and sleep but also their integration into the enlightenment project/path in Tibetan practice terms. Am very grateful for these teachings and the audio quality of the presentation. i have a hopeful resolve to attend to the experience of awareness full and free in this lifetime.

encyclopedia of polyamory

this exhaustive approach to the intricate layers and levels of polyamory is sometimes exhausting. if all the platitudes and flowery adjectives were stripped away it would be more direct and helpful as a guide book resource. but thats the primary authors style. it is comprehensive - and I found the detailed explanations of terms and ideas helpful. toward the end it starts to feel like the author is just showing off a little allowing the reader a backstage ticket to his perfect poly life. that and the anti-mono heavy tone would be better left out. he seems to have a large bias against mono-poly, or “committed” partner poly. but maybe that’s my buttons being pushed. all in all its comprehensive and practical. now i meed to look for a poly book that can help me navigate the nuances of the heart-level more clearly . . .

Ties up many loose threads

I've been recommending this book to poly and non-poly friends and family. The first half covers attachments theory which is so vital to all complex social relationships. I'm n the second half she also tied in the so so necessary inner work of small parts and internal family systems applying it all to development of self individuation and poly relationships. Excellent.

Clear & applicable

Principles of shamanism as a way of life for the planet - individual and as a whole. All the principles can be incorporated into individual lives. Love how the spirit-within of this message dovetails with Dr Stan Groff's "inner healing intelligence". Also with tie ins to Buddhism. Will definitely listen to again

On the search for awakening carried into daily life

The thematic structure and outline of this book are excellent. The content is well ordered. Unfortunately in the audio version it is hard to follow the constant quotes and annecdotes. This must be the authors method of teaching. In person it's probably fine. But it's hard to mentally shift from half a dozen quotes back to his pattern of thought. It's like being on a yo-yo. But the content and its compassionate grace is awesome

This is what my starving soul was longing for. It has completely transformed our marriage of 30 years almost overnight. The mindset shift required is steep, but so clear as to be easily understood by anyone, I believe. Thank-you for saving our marriage. And showing me a better way to live and love.

One woman's journey

Begin with the conclusion. It contains a succinct summary and distillation of principals contained in the book. Then go through the book. You will gain an appreciation for one woman's journey to healing and her many modalities of work with clients. More of an inspiration for aspiring guides. Well written.

A brilliant look at next potential evolution human machine behavior

"Rah!Rah!Rah! Can we do it? Yes we can! We're Team Human!" Except - what are we doing? And who's in charge? And why can't we agree on anything?

This exhaustive journey through the interaction of technological innovation and human reactions and incorporation of tech is breathtaking. The insights are deep and thought provoking. The story line is entertaining in detail and challenging on content (how humans become the tech that is played by big companies).

The empty space in this work is the lack of any leadership and assumption that there is no Divine Consciousness interacting with humans. Maybe the Divine Interventions really have had more impact than the technological discoveries of the ages. There is one fleeting reference to a "moral universe" but otherwise the thesis is we are on our own to figure this stuff out.

On the whole this book is intellectually stimulating but spiritually unsatisfying.

One bright spot is the reference to the role psychedelics play in stimulating team behavior "find the others " - and of this is the way people can reconnect with the Divine maybe that's a good start.

In depth and at the same time broad overview of convergent and interesting traditions. A good primer for Sola Scriptura Protestants and new age seekers alike, though for different reasons.
