This was an excellent listen. Every American should listen to this a couple times. Great understanding of what happened before the "60's revolution" and what drove that cultural revolution.

I found this book very intriguing, not only because I'm on the same "side" as Ann, but because of the historical facts in the book and the research that went into it. Since I did not grow up in McCarthy's era, I had only heard his name in a negative context. It was good to hear this treatment of him and what really happened in the context of those days.
