One of those that I wish I had just bought the book instead. The narrator frequently forgets…to finish… a sentence.

The content seems to be adequate but it’s overshadowed by poor narration. Couldn’t finish the book.

Waste of a credit.

John Perkins walks you through what you always suspected was going on, but in the detail that only someone on the inside could explain. A truly wonderful book, well narrated and highly engaging.

Absolutely amazing.
This book will turn you from an average Joe into a super sleep nerd. My friends and family got sick of me talking about the facts and figures quoted in this book. It set me off down a path towards sleeping more, valuing the sleep I get and a whole host of other things.

Its entertaining, interesting, funny and excellently read by the narrator.

I really want to like this audiobook, I heard the author speaking in an interview and was drawn in to purchase it.
Unfortunately the way the book is delivered by the author is almost incomprehensible, the sentences roll into each other with little pause for punctuation or aesthetic flow. I don't know if this is how the book is written or just how it is being delivered by the author but it feels rushed, in some cases stumbling over words or mumbling, which is inexcusable in a pre-recorded format.

I'm about an hour in and I had to stop listening, it's just too poorly constructed. The underlying story and ideas sound great but I cannot take the journey with the author.

I was hoping to find a book to listen to that would encourage me to follow through on new habits such as eating better and working out more often.

The book instead is just a series of stories about people who have used habit for marketing or recovery from brain injury, or quitting smoking. Each time I expect to dive into a learnable moment the chapter ends and it’s a new story about some other persons habit.

I had been really looking forward to this book. I thought that hearing from the son of an assassinated man with ties to Russia, the Middle East and the western world would be extremely educational and exciting.

Instead I found it mundane, monotonous and almost implausibly simplified. Every little thing being described in detail to the extent you forget what point the author was trying to make.
