Charming
Revisado: 08-13-24
Well written, they’re only a couple of moments. Where you left. Using your imagination to fill in the blanks, however those margins are very small. And your imagination should be able to do that sufficiently. That being said, overall, the story is charming. And for certain individuals going through life one way experiencing an upheaval or trauma can lead life and another direction. I think, two various degrees. We can all relate to that. I do not wish to spoil the story for you and I hope you discover what the story is if you’re looking for something charming about the librarian through an upheaval has to start a new. and then find her way. The life that she never knew that she needed. if you enjoy stories like that, you will enjoy this one. The only thing, I can say is heartwarming and charming. If there is another, book, I will get it. I’m sincerely hoping for the future. There’s another, book continuing the series.

Quite simply it's charming... I only had to look up twice on Australian vernacular. it's a cute storyline that's a little bit bittersweet. And ways that are expected and slightly unexpected. it's a origin story of a new family. How they come together under slightly questionable circumstances. Only slightly questionable circumstances. Ok, maybe I was a little judgy. On how the couple came together. And there are parts of the storyline that could be explained a little better. But, overall satisfying. Even with a pet name that made me cringe a little. It was a cute story. And I feel due to my own ridiculous nature. There should be a trigger warning...
if you've ever had undercooked food or bacteria in your food. You've been warned.
I wouldn't wish that suffering on anyone, both for real or fictional. Now that I think, about it. one of the main protagonists, the mother, her actions! more disturbing now after the fact. then I did at the time. So much so, I'm putting it in here.
Overall the storyline is compelling enough to be a nice distraction. That's good it's cute. The storyline doesn't pretend to be anything more than what it's is. It's a cute distraction.

I’m not anti-relationship, but my life is good right now, and love is not a priority. Too bad my grandmother disagrees. People say she’s scary, and sure, some of her enemies went missing under mysterious circumstances, but she loves me and wants the best for me…which right now, is marriage.

Revisado: 05-05-23
Regardless, if you have any familiarity with the author or the other books in the series universe. Each book can pleasantly stand alone. The character development is absolutely wonderful. Each character lives in its own universe. When it comes to good writing and story development you couldn't ask for anything more. This one can clearly stand on its own in terms of its own storyline. And it's absolutely wonderful that it makes reference with characters from different portions of this unique world. Sometimes this type of storyline doesn't work and you feel completely lost. I can pleasantly say, this is not the case. You can absolutely get lost in the storyline. Have warm fuzzy feelings. Then later on bury them deep deep down inside. And no one, will be the wiser. That's your real human being. You got done with the story that made you feel something. Whatever that may be, I'll let you figure that out. So, you know, enjoy? Don't think, too seriously. Just enjoy it...

Historia
Tristan Everett has always preferred the company of the dead because they usually don't talk back. Being a somewhat awkward introvert working as a pathologist at the Hackney Public Mortuary suits him just fine. That is, until a freak accident with a rogue ice cube and suddenly he can see ghosts. No longer content to just lie on the table and let him figure out how they died, they're now peering over his shoulder critiquing his work and confessing their most lascivious sins before skipping off merrily into the afterlife.

Revisado: 10-08-22
This was an intriguing mystery, at times, I could be absolutely funny, and heartbreaking, at the same time. The main characters in this book were corky wonderful and delightful and mischievous. Dead Serious, struck some emotional courts with me. reminders of prejudice. Reminders of grief and loss. And I enjoyed the charming and funny characters. sometimes. You just want to escape into another world. this one did that for me. I sincerely hope there's going to be more. I have absolutely fallen in love with these quirky characters. And if, you give this book a listen or read you will too. And also it leaves you, with the question what type of person am I. will I be loved and remembered. It's a very human story. Wrapped up with some charm and witty bander, and yes, a little bit of romance and a little bit of ghosts. I think, when we're living our day to day lives we don't think, about our mortality. because, what happens if, one day you wake up dead... And you have no idea why. Give the book a go. And make sure, to bring a nice cup of tea. ;-)

Need more!
Revisado: 06-10-22
This series has been one of my favorite, book series that. I've ever come across. I get transported into a world of inappropriateness and dark humor and I love every minute. Because, who couldn't love a book series that has a dirty foul unicorn, for a mouth. And characters you just have to experience. I can't wait for more there is a possibility that, this could go even further, and that, makes me, happy. I will be patiently waiting for the next book and putting that energy out into the universe. And hoping and praying is dark, and twisted, because, I love it. And there's an interesting theme, of a moral compass. And trying to discover what that, will be, and what that, will look like for each character. It's a fantasy with so much human emotion. And surprisingly with self-reflection and introspection that, make you asked questions about yourself. The series has engaged me. And made me think, and feel emotion.
This book series is either, a gift, or a curse, upon the world. However, I am grateful, it's kept me, distracted through my grief, and my pain, in my loss. And if, a book can do that, well done...
