I loathe a weak “my body betrays me” FMC. Why cant we get revenge? Why cant the FMC get some good old masterful revenge on her abusers? I want to watch the pathetic broken men feel 1/10th of her pain. I will get the next book and if let you know if its the same as the first. Right now, its not worth the credit. ITS A BIG DON’T BOTHER

I haven’t finished yet but I am so tired of the pointless and repetitive angst. The story is told he so much better if it didn’t include such ridiculous nonsense.

It’s a solid two book listen! You will thoroughly enjoy as long as you are able not opposed to the genre. The narrators did a great job as well. Totally worth two credits.

What the heck?

I haven’t finished, but I am so disturbed by the blasé attitude everyone has in response to the humiliating break up. It’s actually so gross. Literally no one even blinks an eye at Knox. Like what is going on? This is absurd! If something happens to make up for this I will write a review update. If not, I am probably done with this author. I am so bothered by the fact that willow is treated like shit and knox continues to humiliate her and she has to deal with it. I am so angry I can barely finish 😡

I thoroughly enjoyed this mafia romance. The lack of repetitive inner dialogue was refreshing and shed small amounts of mystery to the characters. You don’t have to be a fan of the genre to enjoy it. The narrators were an added bonus to an already great audiobook.

Creditworthy? Absolutely yes!

The narration was excellent. The story was captivating at first but things just didn’t progress for me. I lost interest in the characters. Their fight and passion was initially intriguing and then it wasn’t. I don’t think I even want an HEA . I am just not routing for any of the characters because I don’t like them.

But I am definitely in the minority as there are a lot of other very positive reviews.

Yes it’s short, but so worth it. Narration was great and the story even better. You won’t be disappointed as this was well worth the credit!

I hate the nonsensical control. It’s just so stupid. I have whiplash from all the ridiculous mixed methods of control. Give me a plot, a story, and something with substance. Thumbs down and a hard pass.
