DONT DO IT
Revisado: 01-19-25
If you want a book that the reader just yells and does what are possibly the worst accents then thus is for you. Full miss for Greaney due to the poor choice in reader.

Historia
For 155 days, Will Foster has been locked in medical quarantine without his consent. The doctors claim he is infected with a deadly virus, but this is a lie. Encoded in his DNA is a mutation that provides immunity from disease for all who possess it, source code that Vyrogen Pharmaceuticals aims to commercialize as a multi-billion dollar gene therapy. Against all odds, Foster escapes his laboratory prison and steals a virulent strain of bubonic plague as insurance. To help him unravel the mystery inside him, Foster contacts the only person he can trust - a former lover and microbiologist living Vienna - and the two become fugitives.

Great story. Fun and fast moving, however; the narrator should not be allowed to do female characters

WOW....JUST BAD
Revisado: 03-25-22
Typically, you like to see the material as the issue with the story. But in this case, no, everything is just bad. Period from the droll automotive uninstautomotive uninspired voice and technique of the reader to the dry slow moving story itself do not waste your time on this trite drivel

Stone Barrington has run its course
Revisado: 04-02-21
Barrington has run his course. Stuart Woods is simply hanging on to past successes. The character are predictable, the endings are expected, and the storylines are no longer exciting.
Woods and Roberts need to let this line die in peace.

Historia
Poor Stanley Hastings. After getting hired by a hit man and nearly getting shot, the put-upon PI needed some fun, so when a gorgeous damsel in distress walked through his office door she seemed just what the doctor ordered. Wrong again. The fair maiden turned out to be a married mom who wanted Stanley to find out why her teenage daughter was skipping school. Playing truant officer wasn't exactly Stanley's idea of fun, but at least it should be easy. Fat chance.

Got it for free and I want my money back
Revisado: 01-12-21
This is got to be hands down the worst book I have ever gotten from audible. The storyline is a weird combination of dated old-timey sayings and new technology handled by the characters. The main character is nothing more than a snivelling no self confidence having simp do not waste your time

Weak all around (WASTE OF MONEY)
Revisado: 01-05-21
The lead character is at best sniveling and at worst grating.
Brittany Pressley cannot be blamed for that. However she can be blamed for the horrible character voices.
My sisters missing, I cant move on even though I know she is dead. the premise is overdone.

HOW MUCH WAS BASED ON REALITY!!
Revisado: 06-09-20
Great story with no overwrought twist or crap dialog. that only part to fast forward through is the conversation that includes the child. Children should never have dialog in these kinds of books.
