Slightly lacking the normal quality

Well, greatly showing the intricacies of running a big fair from place to place, doesn’t quite live up to the other one she already did. The magical monsters are more side bit parts and we don’t get as much information on them as we did an earlier books. Somehow the entire event is somewhat lacking, even the big ending sort of fall flat.

Greatly funny world storyline, twists, and turn with always new interesting problems. But they still have to work things out as a group.

Overly sugar coated

Wow, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy‘s voices were good. Donald’s was a bit overly scrambled not like the originals. And most of the story is the new Disney version of over sugarcoating everything.

The lack of knowledge of the writer as well as the character

The problem with Cinderella trying to teach the girl about being a princess was the writers lack of knowledge on what a princess really did in those days. So you got them doing what was only done once or twice a year rather than the real work during every day work.

Great character development. Interesting descriptions of New Orleans. Fanciful descriptions of the food. And spider comes through in the end. Which is nice that they finally get around to using his abilities :-)

Lots of great information

I love the list of ministers of magic through the years and other bits of great information not mentioned in most of the storylines. However, there are a few spots that are thin or they don’t go fully into and others are just left blank like who made the chamber secrets is mentioned, but the room of requirement isn’t. Although overall, it’s a nice addition. I just wish it had more of the facts on other missing bits that even this connected bits of information seem to point at but largely skip over for some reason.

Interesting side view of the main series

I like that we see more of the secondary characters. Dealing with issues that never affect Kaylin Nea. Things that happen around the main storyline to bring more life into the world and into subsections of the world that would be hard to interweave into the main.

Her world construction

The author weaves her storylines into her world, creating evermore complex problems along with believable characters who have problems within their own world is quite interesting to see how they get solved.
