reads like a horn 14 year old wrote it at times.
Revisado: 02-19-25
Firstly, as litRPGs go this one is pretty weak there are much better but also much worse LitRPGs out there.
I would have enjoyed this much more if
a) there was less horn 14 year old boy at a sleepover with girls for the first time actions.
the MC spends more time commenting on the girls assesand bodies than anything else.
b) what sexytimes there were were actually well written (see horn 14 year old comment) .
c) the MC was likable. I don't dislike him, but OMG is he whiny and kinda pathetic which ruins half the enjoyment of these kinds of books.
d) there was more plot. it's thin, and seems like an afterthought rather than the purpose of the story.
I listened to it to the end because I hoped it would get better. it didn't.
the only slightly interesting thing was the very end (I won't spoil it).
the narrator did a good job and literally none of the stories weak points were their narration.

I couldn't finish this book, it relies so heavily on platitudes and the personality of the author.
there are things you can get from it that are good, but I don't believe everything withing.

Not the best, not the worst a perfectly OK story.
Revisado: 05-05-23
My title might seem like a slam, It's not to write a good story to take a certain amount of talentell him that the author yes Craig. Clearly has. Nothing 1 About the book Wow me but not if it was painful to listen to. I might go on and listen to more of the series or I may not? It's that. Weird place between like and dislike

Historia
A teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, Zorian is attending his third year of education at Cyoria's magical academy. A driven and quiet young man, he is consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, resenting the Kazinskis for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, Zorian has no time for pointless distractions, much less other people's problems.

The narrator makes this good vook great
Revisado: 05-05-23
Firstly, the narrator is great. He has 1 annoying voice for one particular event, but unfortunately that event happens a multitude of times.
Don't let that stop you from Enjoying this book.
I was intrigued by the concept of this book. I've been a big fan of stories like grand hope day since I watch groundhog K. This exceeded my expectations so much. I loved every minute of it. The story is engaging and interesting the characters are unique and I love zorian. None of that is what makes this story good. What makes the story good is that it explores humanity as well as telling an engaging story. What would you do if you were in a time loop? How would you use it? What would you do? Would you keep your moral compass? Would you be tempted to do things that you wouldn't ordinarily do? Would you be you by the end of it. It asks these questions and it answers them Through the interactions of the characters the story plot and. The author's use of a magic system that they have clearly put time and sort into. So often with things that were Web novels. It can tend to forget events that happened in the previous chapters. You get power creep and it can eventually get boring. The story however doesn't do that perhaps it's the nature of writing the same month over and over again where you have certain People and events act in similar ways every time, This also enables as to get a deeper understanding of characters character who in this volume is Not my favorite Becomes My favorite by the story's final end. The author did a great job on the story. The writer took and already good story and made it great with his performance. It has changed my standards for narrators.

Being in charge of her own dungeon instead of just being an Assistant to a Dungeon Core was a unique experience for Tacca GloomLily, especially after her “bad luck” resulted in her soul being sucked into a Core. Thankfully, she persevered through the strange experience and created a dungeon that she knew Raiders would say was suitable for “beginners”, otherwise known as brand-new Raider Clan recruits.

Wonderful Dungeon Core adventure!
Revisado: 11-04-20
I got the code for this for free, I didn't realize that this book was the second in a series but the recap at the beginning was well done enough that I didn't need to go back to the first (though now I will be because I want to know more about some of the relationships briefly touched upon in this book).
This is a great dungeon core book with a twist that I haven't seen before, the characters were engaging and my only complaint about that was that I didn't get to have more time with the delvers (The end hints that this will be remedied in the next book!!!!)
Taka is a lovely character and I really enjoyed her coming to terms with her life as a dungeon core, whilst continuing her obsessive research into everything.
I don't read a lot of dungeon core books but I do enjoy the genre and I have to say that Jonathon Brooks is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors in the genre. He always comes up with new and engaging characters and worlds and I have yet to find one of his books that I didn't enjoy thoroughly.
There was a slight audio hiccup with the file, but I have been told that the corrected files should be coming soon, though it didn't really spoil my enjoyment of the book at all!
I really recommend this series and author to anyone who wants to try dungeon core books as they are great for people who a are new to the genre.

predictable and somewhat mastabatiory author
Revisado: 09-18-20
I wanted to like this, I listened to it to the end, but this was utterly predictable at every single turn and I'm not an avid romance reader.
if that was it, then I would have given this another star for being mediocre but not bad.
however, much if kates storyline is utter mastabutory self congratulations by the author who self publishes.
without it this book would have been meh. With it it became almost intolerable towards the end.
The narrator did great, sadly the book just was bad.

This version of the Bennet family - and Mr. Darcy - is one that you have and haven't met before: Liz is a magazine writer in her late 30s who, like her yoga instructor older sister, Jane, lives in New York City. When their father has a health scare, they return to their childhood home in Cincinnati to help - and discover that the sprawling Tudor they grew up in is crumbling, and the family is in disarray.

The DFZ, the metropolis formerly known as Detroit, is the world’s most magical city with a population of nine million and zero public safety laws. That’s a lot of mages, cybernetically enhanced chrome heads, and mythical beasties who die, get into debt, and otherwise fail to pay their rent. When they can’t pay their bills, their stuff gets sold to the highest bidder. That’s when they call me. I’m a Cleaner: a freelance mage employed by the DFZ to sort through the mountains of magical junk people leave behind. It’s not a pretty job, or a safe one....

The adventuring industry drives the economy of Arth, a world much like our own but with more magic and fewer vowels. Monsters' hoards are claimed, bought by corporate interests, and sold off to plunder funds long before the Heroes' Guild actually kills the beasts. Of course, that's a terrible arrangement for the Shadowkin; orcs, goblins, kobolds, and their ilk must apply for to become Noncombatant Paper Carriers (or NPCs) to avoid being killed and looted by heroes.
