Just finished the 7th book&thought I should update

The book is great, the story feels slightly week in the first book but it I promise it builds. The first book had me hooked, and I finished all 7 books available in less then 3 months. great read, great for Dnd Inspiration as well

Starting to feel like fan fics

Okay, so obviously its not fan fiction, but it feels like it's getting closer with every book. the story telling just felt flat and forced, not much in the way of character development moving forward and some of the "jokes" feel like they should come along with a clap track. did not enjoy it as much as the first few books, however the hooks are still in me and I will continue reading them. the performance was good, however I few lines felt very campy at the end and felt phoned in.

Yes, and they don't even have to read the first book if they don't want to.

Amazing story, however then writing pissed me off. 3 hours left in the book, and we are still being filled in on "back story" from book one. That's okay if it was a glancing detail like "oh that is Bill, he was the guy who served me a drink that one time". you know, a throwaway thing being brought back and need a reminder of who he is, not a character that had a whole chapter of backstory the book before this one. I feel like you can skip book one, and would know just about everything everyone else knows. I could live with it if the book was much longer than the first, but they just about the same (this ones a hour longer)

I read all the reviews and couldn't believe it was as good as everyone was saying. IT IS AS GOOD AS EVERYONE SAYS. If your into RPGs and MMOs this is a must read. As for me I'm about to go start the next one..like right now.
