Beyond Five Stars! A Must-Listen Audiobook!

Even though I haven't yet finished 'May Cause Side Effects,' I'm compelled to share my admiration. This is a true masterpiece. (Side note: It's frustrating to witness talented authors endure some unwarranted criticism, often from jealous individuals who lack the creative capacity to produce even a simple comic strip. These 'frenemies' aim to sabotage ratings, a testament to their own creative envy. Thank you for indulging my brief digression.)

Brooke Siem's writing is very exceptional, and the narration of Candace Joice is equally impressive. Siem masterfully weaves seemingly casual details into crucial plot points, creating a deeply satisfying and interconnected narrative. This book deserves a film adaptation.

The vocal range of Candace Joice and nuanced delivery bring the characters and events to life, suggesting a close collaboration with the author. The story's layered complexity and escalating drama are keeping me utterly captivated. I wish I could give it more than five stars and eagerly await Siem's next audiobook!

Refreshing & Very Interesting, Audiobook!

Listening to "Involuntary Hold" audiobook from a recent Audible purchase. Am on Chapter Day Two, Dinner 6pm. What is going on with Mel, I think I might know & will find out sooner or later - won't spoil for others. Am usually not into non-fiction albeit this audiobook quickly involves its listener and seems very real. Would buy again. Very happy with this purchase!

This Audiobook Should Be A Movie!

The Narrators Paige & Ali really bring this Audiobook to life. The Characters are very convincing. Really impressive. Listening to this Audiobook, made me feel as though this would be a phenomenal movie! The Author also, is like Eminem with her writing style - layering the details, including the nuances, the hidden eggs that become relevant later on in the story.. and it really pulls you in. I don't want to spoil anything, this is a very well made, mind blowing audiobook.

Male & Female Narration is Amazing 💯

Read by a Man and a Woman. This Audiobook truly is a masterpiece. DEEP, GRITTY & UNIQUE... This isn't the standard MC Romance book, and there is more than surface story in this Novel. It's very interesting what was left to the reader to decide for themselves. Were Dean and Vanna brought together by Fate, Chance or by Magic? Any option you decide to believe, works. The pairing of the two main characters, a self destructive Vigilante Biker (Dean) and a self proclaimed "witch" in hiding (Vanna) I haven't seen done before outside of blatant "paranormal romance", which this book is NOT, and it presented a unique set of challenges and internal conflict, especially for Vanna because of her beliefs and guilty conscience. Both main characters are riddled with inner demons due to traumatic life experiences, of which they aide each other in conquering through their love for one another. Vanna is Dean's Savior as much as he is hers. There is so much one could touch on in this book, and I'd hate to drop any spoilers. At 660 pages, it's actually a fast paced read. All of the characters are enjoyable and interesting, and though the story takes place in a little Nowhere USA town, Dean's Obsessive Crazy and Vanna's creeping threat, as well as the chemistry between them and their steamy love scenes, kept me turning the pages. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in Book 2, especially finding out what Legion and his Chrome Demons have in store for the Saviors MC.

Shouldnt be called "Qanon"

Says pizzaGate is a discredited idea. Says Tom Hanks is innocent. Doesn't teach much at all Overall practical, societal, blah blah blah. Too much filler. Talks about conspiracy theorists, Rome, Watergate but where is the detail? Junk book, too much filler, total letdown. Want my money back.

Anti Q Anon Book

It goes on to suggest Qanon was wrong about things which however turned out to be true - such as many in Hollywood being tied to Offenses. Long monotonous voice, almost computer like - try audio sample to see. This book starts off interesting then goes on about how q is wrong. Waste of money.

Massively Disappointed

This is no Robert Greene or Chris Voss book. It talks about the chapter titles without any tactics. There is no real meat - it may leave you feeling empty and like a wasted purchase.. Feel like this is really a concordance of dictionaries laying around, more than a DIY tutorial. As an audiobook addict, with over 100 downloaded audiobooks - this is definitely in the bottom two that have regretted purchasing. Seems a lot of filler in this book, goes on ad nauseum about defending yourself in a fight; biting your attacker - and is overall, massively disappointing. Seems like this book has great looking cover photo and book name then beyond that, goes blank.

Theres excessive pausing. Am listening about observing things around me, with sight, then observing things nearby with smell. More excessive pausing. Have purchase downloaded 20+ Audiobooks on Shamansim before and am thinking I got ripped off on this one. Will edit after finish book if anything changes but right now, am not happy.

Finally Got It !!!!

what I really like about this book is that, it's not just the how to, it's also the because and the why... reading many books on shamanic journeying, have never read it explained like this, filling in the gaps. I second-guess myself too often, and can honestly say this book is so thoroughly written, that there is no second-guessing. This will be the book that finally does it for you. Everything is going to click.
