best treatment of time travel I've experienced

I greatly enjoyed the story and the author did a fantastic job incorporating known science into a plausible future. I typically don't enjoy stories that use time travel as it's difficult to appreciate any tension when characters can simply undo everything and most limitations or rules placed on time travel feel as hoc and shoe horned in to make the story work. this author has done a lot of work justifying the limits of time travel in his world. I especially liked the afterwords at the end of each book in this series wherein the author reveals how well the science in his story aligns with current understanding and which elements were fabricated. this is an element I hope other authors of science fiction emulate.

science, stories, and lessons all braided together

while this title is certainly not my normal fair, I'm glad to have explored it. I loved the weaving together of Western science, indigenous peoples stories, myths,and lessons, with new lessons for our modern world. I had fully expected the author to end her book by saying something along the lines of as a human her gifts are words and so this book is her meeting her responsibility to share her gifts with the world, but that I thought that and expected it means she succeeded in articulating that idea without having to bluntly say it. Well done.

little confusing at times, but worth the effort

I enjoyed the story, but was fairly confused regarding which point of view the story was being told from. I suspect this was intentional, but resulted in some frustration until I got things a little more straightened out in my head.

I've yet to be disappointed in anything from Sanderson. while initially surprised to find a science fiction offering from him. I hope he dives deeper into this genre.

Wow. while these events occurred during my lifetime, I was completely ignorant of it. I'm sure there are more pieces of this frightful puzzle, but before this podcast I didn't even know there was a puzzle. we'll done! it makes me wonder what other tragedies have been suppressed.

I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I'd seen the movie and so I knew the general storyline not that it isn't hard to guess from the setup but the details and execution are what make it great. Wesley Crusher's performance was superb.
