Scotland and England eye one another with mistrust and an arms race seems inevitable as the English plan building a fleet of Ironclad warships.

Excellent steampunk story line

I love the backstory, great explanation as to why we would revert to steam in the future. I love all the references to current figures and politicians. There is a lot of sexual references and occurrences but nothing is super graphic or uncomfortable. The only critique I have is that it could have more detail in places, I felt it jumped around a little without a clear explanation or how we got there. The narrator is great!

I totally love this series! I'm a little sad I finished this book in just 2 days. I love the new lands and characters. I love the narrator, I can't even skip ahead and read the books, I have to wait for the audio book. I'm excited to see what happens next!

I love this series!

I really like this series, so much so that I'm willing to suffer through different narrators. Both narrators do a good job, it's jarring though, when you have a picture in your mind based off of a particular narrator it's hard when all the sudden Everton l everyone sounds different, even their personalities. It would be hard to switch to reading from audio book too for the same reasons.

I'm really enjoying this series. The narrator does a great job with the different characters but can sometimes be a little flat with Esil's emotions. Overall though I really like it. It's a lot like Ready Player One.
