Not as good as I hoped
Revisado: 08-15-17
The story was okay but no where near as good as I hoped it would be from the reviews. The narrator made it hard to listen to the story and I stopped it less than halfway through.

Probably the worst Karen White I've listened to. I stopped it before it was over.

Historia
After 10 years of cleaning up the dirt on Atlanta's streets, Callahan Garrity is trading in her badge for a broom and a staff of house cleaners. But, though the uniform is a little different, Callahan soon finds herself right back in the middle of a mystery when a client's pretty, pious 19-year-old nanny is gone...along with the jewelry, silver, and a few rather sensitive real estate documents. Before she knows it, the meticulous Callahan is up to her elbows in a case involving illicit love triangles, crooked business deals, long-distance scams, and a dead body.

Pretty good story except for the language
Revisado: 05-31-13
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
No, not time well spent. I normally enjoy Mary Kay Andrews books but the language in this one has turned me off from the rest of the series. I won't be listening to any more on Callahan Garrity.

Historia
Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness... He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me.

50 Shades Copycat
Revisado: 01-07-13
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I was so glad when this book was finally over. It lacked originality in many areas of the storyline. The female lead had too many issues and too much baggage.
Has Bared to You turned you off from other books in this genre?
No.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
I didn't like voice used for the male lead.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No.
