FM lead was ditzy

The story line was good but overall the female lead looked rather dumb. Especially in comparison with most of Jess Michaels female leads who are steering what women.

Horrible female narrator

The story line was interesting and I think I could have enjoyed it however the female narrator was horrible. Her reading was very stilted, like every word was it's own sentence that she was forcing out. Took away from the book a lot.

Frustrating

I enjoyed the first 2 books a lot, however this one is just frustrating. The female lead it's so naive and immature. The male lead is supposed to be so strong but coddles her so much. It's more like a middle school romance instead of an adult relationship.

Ridiculous

I realize they are first time parents but she says she doesn't want to confuse Remy and yet wants to introduce her father as just a friend... When they are that little it's just a name. The whole thing was ridiculous. Him wanting to help pay for his child's needs and her getting mad. Him telling Cruz about his son gets him a beating for figuring out something Cruz wouldn't have ever known about. But if she wants to keep their daughter from him, that's fine? And the female narrator was horrible. Like she was over enunciating each word. If I didn't love this series and hope this book had information needed for the next, I never would've made it thru.

Too much loud breathing

The female narrator kept sucking in breaths very loudly. Loved the story and it was very poignant but heading her sucking breaths was distracting.

It was a good story line and I liked the character development. The female narrator was talking so fast it was like she was trying to get it over with. Took away from the story a lot. Only finished cuz she doesn't narrate every book.

Female character immature

In the previous book this female character seemed much stronger. In this book she seems very immature, like an early teen instead of an adult. It is made worse by the female narrators breathy voice. Not my favorite...

Male narrator was HORRIBLE

It was a good story line however the male narrator took a lot from it. Every sentence was like it's own paragraph with a big pause between them. And sometimes you thought the sentence was over then he'd start again. The female was ok but her voice was a bit whiny.

I absolutely LOVE this series. It is unfortunate that the female majority is so HORRIBLE that it takes a lot away from the story.

I love love love this series, however the female narrator was HORRIBLE. She was so stilted that it was like she was reading a list of words instead of an amazing story. I am in the same business as the female character, so it was close to my heart. If she was the narrator on the first book I would've given up and never finished. It was painful to listen to her chapters. Unfortunately, she is the narrator on the next book also...
