I really enjoyed the whole series. interesting to see into the Amish ways and scripture to back them up but not salvation, prayerfully things have changed since these books were written.

I Will Lift Up my Eyes

This is a story of faith, love and courage. A reminder first of Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me“
and the importance of knowing God’s Word if we find ourselves with no Bible. Brilliantly written and narrated. I highly recommend this book.

Love Overcomes

The second book in this trilogy was as good as the first. Kristin Heitzmann knows how to bring out the deep feelings of her subjects along with thoughts from the Bible. Ed Sala is a great narrator.
I’m looking forward to listening to the third.

Karen Kingsbury has never left me down, she’s an amazing author of portraying love and losses, human interest with some twists and turns, triumphs and failures but always illuminating God’s love for everyone who is willing to seek him. Well done Karen and narrator Richard Ferrone..

This is a beautiful love story that will pull at your heart strings. A tragic accident leaves Olivia feeling hopeless, with low funds and alone in a strange town where she I doesn’t know anyone. But all things work together for good to those who love the Lord……,Romans 8:28…..:and His plan is always right and perfect.

True and Certain

Living 45 minutes from Lancaster, PA I’ve had the pleasure of riding through the beautiful farmlands of the Amish, toured one of their homes, listened to the lovely clippity clop of horses hooves as they pulled their bodies bodies ooo
buggies and had a hot air balloon ride over the lush fields and gardens; also, of course ate their delicious shoo fly pie.
Beverly Lewis takes the reader, or listener into the lives and hearts of her characters. I was unpleasantly surprised to hear the Amish don’t acknowledge the salvation message that because of Jesus death and resurrection we can make heaven our eternal home.
The story line was intriguing and the narrator excellent. I’m looking forward to the third book in the series.

Bumpy Landings

Not only did the helicopter have some bumpy landings but the characters in the book did as well. Story had some unexpected twists and turns. I almost didn’t buy the book because of bad reviews on the narrator but she did alright considering how many different voices she had to portray. I recommend this book.

My Hope is in You

This story is, as usual for Terri Blackstock well written, suspenseful while reassuring, sad but with gladness, poverty and wealth, downtrodden and wealthy, seekers and believers. Above all it needs to be told and recognized by those, mostly teenage girls, not to put so much private info on social media.
It especially shows that while sometimes our faith is weak God’s love is always strong.

The Sins of a Mother

Lynette Eason did it again, another mystery with twists and turns although the villain was easy to identify before the ending. I thought the narrator, Kate Zane, did well with the voices. I recommend this book.
