Historia
When a demon sneaks into the mortal world and murders an innocent girl to get to her sister, Chaeli, all pretense of peace between the gods is shattered. For Chaeli is no ordinary mortal, she is a demi-goddess, in hiding for centuries, even from herself. But there are two divine brothers who may have fathered her, and the fate of Ibea rests on the source of her blood. Chaeli embarks on a journey that tests her heart, her courage, and her humanity.

Audio Sounds Like Recorded in Bathroom
Revisado: 05-09-18
Unfortunately, I could not listen to this book for more than an hour so my rating is probably not too accurate. It seemed like it could have been a good story and the narrator attempts to perform. I just could not get around the overall audio quality. Something was just way off and I couldn't concentrate on the book at all. Quite frankly, it sounds like it was recorded with a poor microphone in a bathroom.

Historia
The members of the motley crew that stumbled through that revolution are rich and praised as saviors. Everyone gets to live happily ever after, right? Right? Well, it might have worked out that way if the dragons in Kondorra had been the only ones. If they hadn't been just the tip of the spear about to fall upon the whole world....

A Little More Serious
Revisado: 10-26-17
The second book in the series has a little more seriousness to it that the first did. However, it is still hilarious! The performance is awesome! I can't wait for the next book!

Historia
It's not easy to live in a world ruled by dragons. The taxes are high, and their control is complete. But for one group of bold misfits, it's time to band together and steal back some of that wealth. No one said they were smart.

F'ing Epic

Definitely not your typical Fantasy. Superb narration! Great story! The swearing actually fits pretty well.

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Michael Kramer's Reading Monotonous
Revisado: 08-31-17
What didn’t you like about Kate Reading and Michael Kramer ’s performance?
I really just started this book, and barely got into Chapter 2. It is VERY hard getting past Michael Kramer's performance. He does a decent job varying voices for the characters, but his reading tone is putting me to sleep! It is very difficult to follow the build-up and background as he just drones on and on.
Any additional comments?
Based on many of the reviews, I really want to keep listening! It seems this would be a book that I could enjoy. Should I keep pushing through? When does Kate start reading? Is she any better? I fear that if I can't follow through with Michael's reading now, I may not get a good grasp of the background.
