Historia
To survive depression, you must first understand and accept it. Then, you can draw on the appropriate coping skills and techniques to overcome it. This self-help audiobook was written to educate, motivate, and inspire those who suffer with this mental illness. "If you are sitting in the darkness (due to depression), turn on the light. If you cannot find the light switch, seek out the help of someone who can!"

pathetic
Revisado: 03-13-25
This book is supposedly written for individuals suffering from major depressive disorder, yet it contains the most simplistic and superficial "advice." If the author was an actual counselor or therapist, she would be considered a danger to her patients. MDD can be an incredibly debilitating and deadly disease. Often the depressed individual cannot get out of bed for weeks, or worse yet dies by suicide when the pain becomes unbearable
Her advice to just get out of bed and take a vitamin is irresponsibly asinine
