I would recommend this book to my Christian parents that may be tolerant enough to be able to be willing to read/listen to this book. I was attentive throughout the entire book, and found it incredibly inspiring and educational. I will be gifting this book to some close friends for their birthdays.

Historia
In The Social Leap, William von Hippel lays out a revolutionary hypothesis, tracing human development through three critical evolutionary inflection points to explain how events in our distant past shape our lives today. From the mundane, such as why we exaggerate, to the surprising, such as why we believe our own lies and why fame and fortune are as likely to bring misery as happiness, the implications are far-reaching and extraordinary.

I really enjoyed this book! I would recommend reading sapiens by Hararri, and then the Social Leap. This book was a joy to listen to.

Historia
Atheist Yoga is a provocative and mind-bending book that makes the case for yoga's total compatibility with atheism, while simultaneously offering an in-depth explanation of advanced yoga technique. It takes a close look at the full spectrum of yoga methodology and explains how to really advance your practice to higher levels of expertise, delving deeply into hatha yoga, pranayama and meditation while thoroughly exploring esoteric subjects such as Kundalini, tantra, sexual yoga, kumbhaka, pratyahara and yogic trance in sensible and easy to understand practical terms. From a starting point of realism and scientific materialism, it begins to decode and illuminate the ancient secrets of yoga in a way that readers will find highly accessible and enjoyable on multiple levels.

Good content, Poor delivery

The narrator for this audiobook made it very difficult to follow. I would suggest the book to any that are interested in it, but don’t buy this audiobook. Fairly disappointed in the narration.
