Out to Dry

It contains very basic information with little imagination. The rationale she gives for many of the issues behind clutter are oversimplified. Disappointing.

Worthless in Florence
Revisado: 04-20-06
For this audio to be beneficial, two improvements must be made. 1) the author refers countless times to the map (not provided and should be), marked with points of interest and directions and 2) the audio should be broken into [tracks] of famous sites so that you can locate what you are seeing. Neither one is provided. The directions are impossible to follow without the map (which they provide to their cassette buyers) and it is one large file with no markers and no way of finding the point of interest that you want to visit. Terribly disappointing and useless.

Historia
Two men, each handsome and unusually adept at his chosen work, embodied an element of the great dynamic that characterized America’s rush toward the twentieth century. The architect was Daniel Hudson Burnham, the fair’s brilliant director of works and the builder of many of the country’s most important structures, including the Flatiron Building in New York and Union Station in Washington, D.C. The murderer was Henry H. Holmes, a young doctor who, in a malign parody of the White City, built his “World’s Fair Hotel” just west of the fairgrounds.

Fascinating Through and Through
Revisado: 01-20-04
Fantastic story. Wonderful contrast between the two main characters. Rich character development. Interesting from the standpoint that a lot of people who were and were to become famous were woven throughout. So many fascinating stories within one book. Hard to put down.
