Revisado: 02-07-22
You have have Jacobi Diem. Why would you ruin the performance with bad imitations of a male voice and terrible rhythm and cadence? Great story though.

What’s with all the halting as the story was told? Also, the continuous dramatic whispering?

Torn: Be Warned There Will Be Spoilers
Revisado: 05-02-19
This one is thin. The love story promised a more broad love story because Pet isn’t brand new; she isn’t even mad at the accidental turning but then the story isn’t delivered. The team isn’t even really trying to investigate thoroughly the house where an extremely dangerous and wanted rogue has been hold up. I like what there is of it BUT where is the rest?

Revisado: 12-21-16
Would you try another book from Helen Hardt and/or Sebastian York and Neva Navarre ?
One of those, sold by the chapters, series. Ugh.
Would you ever listen to anything by Helen Hardt again?
No, too expensive! Almost $30 without credits and even $15 is too much for by the chapters series, Ugh! I'll check the library in order to get to the ending,
Would you be willing to try another one of Sebastian York and Neva Navarre ’s performances?
Depends on the book's author.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Craving?
By the chapter series... No!

Max???
Revisado: 08-10-16
What did you like best about Dragonmark? What did you like least?
There was far too much of Max's story warmed over in this one:(
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Use Max's story as a tie-in Only.
Which scene was your favorite?
The HEA is always going to be my favorite. More Illy HEA would have been nice.
Could you see Dragonmark being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No, I'm always let down by what has to be cut out... Achercon, maybe. No idea who'd fit the Acheron bill though.
Any additional comments?
I still love my Dark Hunters though and their author...

Diana Gabaldon’s magnificent historical saga, begun with Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber, continues with this New York Times bestseller. Set in the intriguing Scotland of 200 years ago, the third installment in the romantic adventures of Jamie and Claire is as compelling as the first.

Historical Timeline Considered
Revisado: 06-10-16
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Many people may Not be bothered by the use of the racial slurs... it ruined the experience for me. Like cold water in the face.
What could Diana Gabaldon have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Not used the word "nigger". I get it, the times and all. It's use made me forget the rest of the story... Scotland had a similar "slaving" of it's culture and lands and titles and rights. Even if a character is a "bad guy" or someone devoid of compassion the author is still responsible to her readers. And this author may feel that the characters speak for themselves and in that case I'd say these characters are in need of some adult supervision.
Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
N/A
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Voyager?
Not scenes, language. DG is very good and clearly uses a Lot of language; I think she could have found a less hurtful way to demonstrate the era and the reprehensible morals of some of the cast.
