This is an excellent guide to Christian apologetics pertaining to current world issues, especially concerning today's youth.
Likely useful for Christian parenting, but not exclusively.
Brought up a good number of ideas and approaches to sensitive topics in the world today that don't even remotely involve a bull horn, which is encouraging and verymucha good thing. Will definitely read again, probably more than once.

Was this meant to be relatable? Because I found the entire series so far to be extremely relatable. The speed of the story and action therein is just right to keep the reader's interest from moment to moment, the narration is an excellent fit, and I find the whole experience to be enthralling with just enough but not too much suspense. I consider these books to be the ultimate comfort food of books for me, like the mashed potatoes of books.

There is some swearing, and usually I don't care for a lot of strong language, but it is placed well and puts emphasis in the right places for the narrative and characters.

Here we find one of the most classic, heroic tales of the old world. Full to the brim of action, adventure, romance, swordplay, daring-do, and sweet, sweet justice. This series of classic books, in my opinion, is the absolute epitome of romantic adventure and heroism. Simply a beautifully written set of tales following the adventures of the people's hero Zorro as he fences his way through the world of old California.

The narrator's voice and reading performance is an excellent fit for these books, he brings just the right inflections and mysterious depth of voice to bring the story to life. Great pick.

My only complaint is that the voice Can be a little quiet, especially when you are trying to listen in a noisy location, so you may have to turn up the volume a bit more than you do on other audio books.
Overall, however, this is a wonderful book and set of books. Very reccommended.

The Dragonlance books, and particularly the Dragonlance Chronicles, are a very good, very well written stories. I have read the paperback versions, and have picked them up in audio format recently to listen through at work as a way to read more in spite of limited time in my daily life.
These are some of my all time favorite books.

The narrator for these audio versions is.. Ok... if you don't mind sentences being inflected and broken up in weird, unnatural ways. As someone has stated in a previous review, it is EXTREMELY Shatner-esque, and it does make the listening experience jolting and disjointed. Personally, I do actually like the voices the narrator uses for the characters, but when you aren't in a part where he is reading the characters' direct lines, the narration leaves much to be desired. {"I read that before," a huge pause, and then he will read, 'Tasslehoff..exclaimed...'} It sounds more like the book was fed to a computer or GPS guidance system to be read than actually being read by a human voice.

I will be pushing through because I very much want to read these books again, and my best chance to do this is by listening while doing other things, but I do wish it had a better narration.

I would advise anyone considering this to consider reading the books yourself rather than listening to this recording if at all possible, especially if you have never read the books before. That being said, these books are 100% worth the read.

Better than the musical

Don’t get me wrong, the musical/movie is good, but as with most cases, the book is so much better. A lot of detail gets cut out in film adaptations, and you never know what you are missing until you actually read, or in this case listen to, the book. I was initially intimidated by the length of Les Miserables when I tried to pick up the paper book, and having the option to listen to it while I was at work was a godsend. That being said, however you choose to read it, this book is well worth it if you like classical books or historical fiction.
The narrator did an excellent job, he brought the book to life and made it a very immersive listening experience.
Well done!
