I was disappointed. The first book was much better. The story was drawn out and inevitably simple.

Amazing story!
Revisado: 01-22-23
The evil of slavery is depicted in a way that shakes the soul and conscious. There’s an obvious villain (slave masters and those that profit from it) but the book does a good job of showing how horrible acts can turn good people into monsters and how monsters can maintain some sense of humanity in an inhumane world. This should be a mandatory reading!!
