Historia
Two men, each handsome and unusually adept at his chosen work, embodied an element of the great dynamic that characterized America’s rush toward the twentieth century. The architect was Daniel Hudson Burnham, the fair’s brilliant director of works and the builder of many of the country’s most important structures, including the Flatiron Building in New York and Union Station in Washington, D.C. The murderer was Henry H. Holmes, a young doctor who, in a malign parody of the White City, built his “World’s Fair Hotel” just west of the fairgrounds.

Historia
Nancy Cartwright is the ultimate Simpsons insider. Her raspy, childlike voice is immediately recognizable as none other than Bart Simpson, the most precocious, irreverent, and intriguing 10-year-old ever to enter the American consciousness.

Memoir - Lite
Revisado: 01-06-05
This is a sanitized history of Nancy Cartwright and her career in doing voices and as Bart on the Simpsons. I expected more insight, and especially a more candid presentation, instead I find a bubbly, somewhat sophmoric listen. Her description of working on the Simpsons has very little substance other than fawning descriptions of her co-stars, the writers, the guest stars, and just about anyone else she meets. In her world no one is mean, stupid, or for that matter, does anything thats interesting. This would be a good listen for a 14 year old teenager.

Historia
"We must all hang together," Benjamin Franklin is reported to have said to his revolutionary peers, "or we will assuredly all hang separately." This is a sentiment that's even more appropriate, and more urgent, when you're lost between the stars in a crippled and out-of-control ship, your shipmates aren't talking to each other (and haven't for thousands of years), and you don't really exist in the first place...

Good Short SCI-FI

A nice expoloration of what AI modeled after real people would be like, right down to the egos. All too human reactions and feelings are part of a program. This short works on several different levels.
