Great story

This was a solid series. The narrator really made you care about the characters. You get beat getting this many hours of story for one credit. I love this genre and I have been listening to these kind of books for a long time and this one is solid.

Very Juvinile

I have listened to a ton of zombie books and this one is rough. The narrator is good but the writing is more for a teenager or pre-teen. This is a series for a youngster wanting to listen to this genre for the first time but I found it painful and only made it a few pages into book 2.

LOVE THIS BOOK AND SERIES

This book had me from the start. The narrator and story are excellent. Had me laughing and crying throughout. Fantastic read.

Loved the first 11 books but not this one

I was a huge fan of these books and listened to them all back to back BUT this book the narrator changed and it took me right out of the story. I listened to the entire book hoping that I would get used to the new voice but the narrator almost seemed unsure when reading. It threw everything off. Plus, story wise this book was the weakest.
The series itself could have ended nicely after book 10 or 11.
I would still highly recommend the series, it is hours of solid listening just not this book.

This book and book 1 of the series start a little slow BUT well worth the read. The narrator is exceptional and the story is captivating.

I really wanted to like this book. I could not even make it through to the end. I would say the best way to describe it would be juvenile. I did enjoy the narrator but she could not save the storyline.

What made the experience of listening to Killing Floor the most enjoyable?

I like the character of Reacher.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I always love how detailed books get but there were moments where it was almost too detailed. It almost felt like it dragged on as if the author was trying to fill time. I understand that you want to give detail but in doing that, it hurt the pacing a bit.

Any additional comments?

Overall though I would recommend this book, It was a fun read and I really enjoyed the narrator.

I would say it is my favorite so far.

What did you like best about this story?

It was very easy to follow, good story telling and the pacing of the story was good.

Have you listened to any of Nick Sarando’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He has a very good voice, his character distinction is great.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was happy at the end with the final line. Gave me a chuckle.
