Historia
Life is freaking hard. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing; caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace. On We Can Do Hard Things, Glennon Doyle, author of UNTAMED; her wife Abby Wambach; and her sister Amanda Doyle do the only thing they’ve found that has ever made life easier: Drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard things including sex, ...

SMWF love this podcast. Fans of both authors. Understand offsides. Appreciate their activism. Helps me feel the "community" of the hard things I have to do in my own life.

Historia
Despite billions of dollars invested in medical research and technological breakthroughs in American healthcare made to prolong and improve the lives of patients, a devastating statistic remains. Two thirds of Americans die in healthcare institutions tethered to machines and tubes at bankrupting costs, despite research that shows 80 percent of Americans would prefer to spend their last days in their homes surrounded by loved ones.

The conversation we need to have.
Revisado: 11-30-18
This was compelling and very interesting to listen to. I easily became invested in the stories of other families having to make end of life care choices for their loved ones. I appreciated the differences in perspectives. I would have really appreciated an accompanying PDF with some of the website and video locations. Having to listen to the narrator read them off was painful. A resource that will go unused sadly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this program. I caught myself smiling often while lustening. I loved how the additional audio clips were woven into the story. Truly a labor of love for all those involved in bringing this production to light. Thank you.

Like other readers/listeners there were many similarities in my own divorce experience. I wish I had found this book earlier for me to better help my children understand loving both parents is okay despite the circumstances of divorce. It's extremely hard when divorcing a narcissist.

Paranormal private eye. Grim reaper extraordinaire. Whatever. Charley Davidson is back in Darynda Jones' Third Grave Dead Ahead! And she’s drinking copious amounts of caffeine to stay awake because, every time she closes her eyes, she sees him: Reyes Farrow, the parthuman, part-supermodel son of Satan. Yes, she did imprison him for all eternity, but come on.

"Wild Ride"
Revisado: 03-06-12
I read/listen for entertainment. I was very well entertained! The story line is a little out there for my taste but its an escape. Personally, I love the sarcasm. I live in the southwest so with the setting in ABQ, I think that is fun too. Looking forward to the next one...HURRY!
Lorelei King is an outstanding narrator. She is really fun to listen too. I found this series by searching her specifically. She does such a great job in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, I was looking for more of that. Thank you Audible for that feature.

I really enjoyed this book....so much so that I went to see the movie once I finished the audio. There is not nearly enough time in the movie to develop the characters and enjoy the locations as in the book. Yes, I am divorced and maybe someone who has not gone through something similar may not relate as much... and great for you... get what you can from her experience and move forward...we all can't take a year off and indulge ourselves.

Fun Listen
Revisado: 09-03-10
I have enjoyed several of the books in this series by this author. I listen to them between other longer, heavier tracks when I require a "half hour sitcom." I feel strongly that the narration helps make this title so enjoyable, Lorelei King really is super with the characters voices.

We recently lost one of our pack and I thought this might help me with my grief. I really enjoyed the perspective from which this story is told. Some of what the family went through touched me personally. I really loved and appreciated this book. My new mantra is "that in which you manifest is before you"....thank you Enzo.
