Historia
This insane story is based on true events, and isn't for the faint of heart. It involves loan sharks, baseball bats, guns, alcohol, cocaine, gambling, and the scariest thing of all: human nature.

An interesting biopic!
Revisado: 06-21-22
What a tale! For fans of Tyler’s works, this read doesn’t stray too far from the beaten path he takes to build the story from the ground up. Avid readers can discover slight differences to his overall “style” due to the collaborative efforts made to identify with the main character. Keep up the great work, Tyler! Andy, great work as always with narration!

Historia
Want to make more money playing poker? Only 10% of poker players are profitable, but the solution is easier than you think. One of the most important and overlooked aspects of the game is your range. This pertains to what hands you will and will not play. Of course, everyone will play AA, KK, QQ, and AK, but how far should that range stretch?

My GoTo Book!
Revisado: 10-14-18
The author and the narrator really help to outline a "goto" style of play when the chips are down - no pun intended! A great read for any player wishing to work on the ins and outs of their game, this work defines a specific method for handling the swings of decision-making while extracting solid information from opponents. Thanks again, Tyler for a great read!

Historia
You know those guys who play poker for millions of dollars on television? I'm not one of those guys. Instead, I risked my life on a nightly basis playing in underground poker games on Long Island and in Charlotte. This story is about how I managed to survive, but just barely.

Dark Side of the Felt Review
Revisado: 03-12-18
The best thing I liked about this book: the main character was real. I could identify with the real life decisions that were made - good and not so much - of a “true poker player.” No one is perfect, and that is reflected in the story very well! The narrator made it easy to slip into Tyler’s situation and mindset with his delivery, allowing the reader/listener to be a part of the story at times. Lastly, the poker tips embedded throughout the story are sharp and insightful points to those who are trying to work their way through the game. Mainly a story, mostly a lesson, quietly an experience. Great Job! -AC
