Historia
Until that September of 1952, Luke Chandler had never kept a secret or told a single lie. But in the long, hot summer of his seventh year, two groups of migrant workers — and two very dangerous men — came through the Arkansas Delta to work the Chandler cotton farm. And suddenly mysteries are flooding Luke’s world.

Historia
J.R. Moehringer grew up captivated by a voice. It was the voice of his father, a New York City disc jockey who vanished before J.R. spoke his first word. Sitting on the stoop, pressing an ear to the radio, J.R. would strain to hear in that plummy baritone the secrets of masculinity and identity. Though J.R.'s mother was his world, his rock, he craved something more, something faintly and hauntingly audible only in The Voice.

I wish I would have saved my credit
Revisado: 02-14-22
I tried, I gave it an honest try. By by chapter 15 I was done. What’s the plot? It is a descriptive narrative with very little going on. I couldn’t handle the voice of the narrator either. I am so sorry, but it was just so boring.
