Historia
On a brutal winter's day in 1650 in Stockholm, Frenchman Rene Descartes, the most influential and controversial thinker of his time, was buried after a cold and lonely deathfar from home. Sixteen years later, the pious French Ambassador Hugues de Terlon secretly unearthed Descartes' bones and transported them to France. Why would this devoutly Catholic official care so much about the remains of a philosopher who washounded from country after country on charges of atheism?

Heady narration of a deliciously erotic collection
Revisado: 10-15-16
A deliciously erotic collection. The two-part story of Cleo and Kate warmed my heart (and my most intimate area) and beckoned me to listen over and over and over again. I thoroughly enjoyed the seductive voice of Bodine Boling and could imagine the well-developed characters as she read. I look forward to more of her narrations--and her dreamy voice. This collection of intimate stories will ignite a desire that pulses in all the right places.
Thank you Sacchi Green for a truly engaging and heady ride to remember.

Historia
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.
