Historia
It was just a random mutation - one of a billion that happen in viruses every day. But this one was different. It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

I didn’t get into it until the third book but it was good.

I bought it because of Dusty’s diary and it is a lot like that. I think the end was kind of a joyful wrap up for the story and it just kind of ends.

Historia
The world is recovering from a near extinction level event. Fortified enclaves and barricaded towns have managed to survive the long winter. Spring brings new hope and new beginnings. One boy, thrust too quickly into manhood, is learning to find his way in the new wastelands. With hopped up machines and purpose built muscle cars to run the roads, a new breed of pony express rider is born.

Sorry
Revisado: 02-27-22
I liked the first three though they did get more predictable and less engaging. This one I hoped would reinvigorate the series but no. We know the bad guys are bad and do disgusting things and they attract the same sociopaths and multiple their evil. How about the zombies, are they not evil enough? Enough with the one ups man ship for who is the most evil and maybe the zombies are the cuddly ones. The story is just a retelling of the lust for power at all costs and just happens to have zombies in it. By the way we are the zombies and the elite are the rest of the world using us to secure their power, so I don’t need a book to tell me the story we all live in.

Historia
Known to generations of Americans for his stirring call to arms, “Give me liberty or give me death,” Patrick Henry is all but forgotten today as the first of the Founding Fathers to call for independence, the first to call for revolution, and the first to call for a bill of rights. If Washington was the “Sword of the Revolution” and Jefferson, “the Pen,” Patrick Henry more than earned his epithet as “the Trumpet” of the Revolution for rousing Americans to arms in the Revolutionary War.

Another view of our history
Revisado: 10-12-21
An accounting of some of the smartest people in the history of our country. How they wrote the constitution and bill of rights in what can only be difficult times and with no idea that it would last till now and I hope far into the future.

Historia
Despite being a winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 2008, Philip Schultz could never shake the feeling of being exiled to the “dummy class” in school, where he was largely ignored by his teachers and peers and not expected to succeed. Not until many years later, when his oldest son was diagnosed with dyslexia, did Schultz realize that he suffered from the same condition.

Just a tease for free
Revisado: 09-12-20
The story is slow and it doesn’t get anywhere by the end. I downloaded it as part of the free stories and wish the fact it was part of a series I would have liked to know that first. The story is not going anywhere after nine hours and I doubt it will in six hundred.
