Historia
When a high-ranking officer gallops into the quiet Mistyvales, he brings a warning that shakes the countryfolk to their roots. But for Aedan, a scruffy young adventurer with veins full of fire and a head full of ideas, this officer is not what he seems. The events that follow propel Aedan on a journey that only the foolhardy or desperate would risk, leading him to the gates of the nation's royal academy - a whole world of secrets in itself. But this is only the beginning of his discoveries.

An approved textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry since its first publication, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an indispensable guide to the magical beasts of the wizarding world. It showcases a menagerie of magical creatures, explained enchantingly by noted magizoologist, Newt Scamander, who you may remember from the film series of the same name.

An encyclopaedic dive into magic realms...
Revisado: 04-17-17
Where does Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
A very different book at just under two hours but still brings a lot of satisfaction if you have enjoyed Happy Potter and the Fantastic beast. Pulls quite a few threads together to create quite a feast of insights into the fantastical world of magic beastie!!
What did you like best about this story?
Loved that is was like an encyclopedia but with exciting stories and events scattered at every turn as the beast are described in enough detail to paint wonderful mental pictures.
Have you listened to any of Eddie Redmayne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Historia
A tense, gripping psychological thriller, with Hitchcockian overtones, perfect for fans of Gillian Flynn, Sophie Hannah and Rosamund Lupton. Lara Finch is living a lie. Everyone thinks she has a happy life in Cornwall, married to the devoted Sam, but in fact she is desperately bored. When she is offered a new job that involves commuting to London by sleeper train, she meets Guy and starts an illicit affair. But then Lara vanishes from the night train without a trace.

Gods story with entertaining twist
Revisado: 03-27-17
A good easy listen. In places it did feel a bit slow but the story works well. Could have been a little more intricate to tease the mind a little bit however it was satisfying. At times the lack of range in voice for the various male characters was frustrating but a jolly good engaging story.
