When I started working at Salacious Players’ Club, I never expected to end up on the auction block ready to grant a date to the highest bidder. This club is not really my scene. I’m not the kind of girl rich guys take home. I’m more a piano playing, van-living, free spirit kind of girl.

Historia
As a published novelist, Lila Rose has been writing about fictional weddings all her life. But disaster strikes on her own big day when she hears her philandering fiancé, Daniel, whispering sweet nothings to someone else. With her dream day shattered, all Lila wants to do is run and hide, so she decides to fly solo on her own honeymoon. When Daniel arrives in the resort with his new squeeze, Lila strikes up a ‘showmance’ with hot new movie star Freddie Bianchi. Freddie is perfect for the part, and Lila soon relaxes into her leading lady role.

Fun, light reading and romance!
Revisado: 11-18-22
I really enjoyed this one! I felt for the character with her fiance treating her so bad, but karma comes back to him. This was just an easy romantic read and was included with my membership so a win win. This was one of my favorites that I have read this year and would make a great book to listen to on vacation. I thought the character was hard on herself, but I guess what she went thru with her fiance lowered her self esteem, but fun read!

This is a great book to read on vacation or to set the mood for an upcoming vacation. Also, it reminds you of the power of forgiveness even if it is so hard to do in certain situations.

Disturbing story
Revisado: 03-31-22
I wanted to finish this to see how it ended, but if family violence gets to you then you might want to skip this one. I felt a lot of empathy for the lead character Danni. She goes thru a lot in this book! There are several big twists towards the end of the book which I wont give away. The ending just left me stunned. I had to just sit for a few minutes sorting it all out in my mind and you will want to have a more cheerful book to follow this one up with because it just has a lot of sad scenes which I know happens in real life, but wow! This is the most disturbing book I have read this year. It is not a bad book, but a rough read if family violence gets to you.

This last book wrapped up the character's lives.
Revisado: 02-12-21
I liked this last book. Yes, more characters were added, but I still enjoyed the characters and their relationships. The backdrop of the hurricane added even more drama. The descriptions of the island, food, and drinks makes me want to visit the Virgin Islands again. I loved reading about Irene, Rosie, Maya, and the others. Strong characters! I thought it was worth the credit. I would have been awake at night wondering how the trilogy ended fir the characters.
