I like mysteries and crime novels. I didn’t want a romance, which is what this seemed to lean more towards in my opinion. I also felt like the story kept going in circles…same thing over and over. End was the best part but took a lot to get there.

After listening to the first book in this series, I was disappointed to hear a different voice narrating. I hate when authors do that because you have someone in your head as the character from the previous book. In this instance, I picture Jon Stanton as a burly manley man and the voice in this one was to feminine for the character in my opinion.

First thing I noticed was the narrator was different than before. This guy uses two voices…that if the main character…and everyone else. I found that frustrating at times. The story though…that was amazing! Twists made this book one to recommend for sure.
