Parents are under a lot of stress. They don’t know how to handle their own emotions, and they have no idea what to do with their kids’ emotions either. The best way for parents to understand their children better is by having an emotional intelligence that allows them to see things from the child’s perspective. This helps parents make better decisions when they deal with their kids - both in terms of discipline and building strong relationships with them.
