Disappointment after years of waiting!

The Outlander series has been my all time favorite. This book is such a disappointment. The story is all over the place, jumping from one little scene of no consequence to another. And, more than half of them in a church of one kind or another. I read this for the history and characters and both are lacking in this book. I got about 2/3 of the way through before being so badly bored I can't finish. Don't waste your money on this one if you're expecting it to be like the other books of the series.
It looks like the author is too wrapped up in the television show to finish the books.

Would you listen to Mai Tai One On again? Why?
I'm keeping Mai Tai on my Ipod so I can listen again. It is well done with the voices matching the characters perfectly.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the Hula Maidens. Each voice was different and fit the character perfectly. The humor in the book kept me laughing and the story was great.
Have you listened to any of Tanya Eby’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first and I liked it.

Finally got my Rachel Gibson fix!

What made the experience of listening to Rescue Me the most enjoyable?
Rachel Gibson is one of my favorite authors. I only wish she could write a book a month. This is the first time I've listened to Kathleen Early and she captured the characters perfectly. This is a sweet read and makes you cheer for Sadie and Vince all the way.

Never Love a Highlander ranks near the top, and I listen to audio books every day. The reader catches the accents and moods of the characters. It was a pleasure to listen to.

Caelen and Rionna are two headstrong characters set in a wonderful love story.

This is the first Maya Banks books I've had the pleasure of listening to or reading. I've already ordered more.

I bought this author's first book on a whim and as soon as I was finished listening to it immediately downloaded the Sugar Queen. It was just as wonderful as the first. I can't wait for her next book. The characters are quirky and the story really draws you in. She is now a must buy author for me
