Narrator is nearly illiterate
Revisado: 02-13-22
The book is good, but the narrator (who has a nice speaking voice) mispronounced so many common words that it left me simply appalled. I guess ANYONE can narrate books now, even those who can’t pronounce common words.

She tells with bravery and dignity for the first time the story of how she and her mother were betrayed and sold into sexual slavery in China and forced to suffer terrible psychological and physical hardship before they finally made their way to Seoul, South Korea - and to freedom.

Why do people dodge responsibility when things fall apart? Why the parade of public figures unable to own up when they screw up? Why the endless marital quarrels over who is right? Why can we see hypocrisy in others but not in ourselves? Are we all liars? Or do we really believe the stories we tell? Renowned social psychologists Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson take a compelling look into how the brain is wired for self-justification.

Narrator can’t pronounce names and common words
Revisado: 11-02-20
This is certainly an unusual experience, with an erudite author and plebeian narrator. The Narrator badly mispronounces names commonly announced in the news for the last 30 years, and mispronounces certain words as well. He says ‘RHINEquist’ in the first part of the book, correcting himself later, and ‘SOWter’ for the entire book. It makes Ted Cruz sound illiterate while reading stories from the amazingly productive intellectual life of Senator Cruz. It’s an odd experience - and should never have been released to market in this condition.

Fraud Alert
Revisado: 04-20-20
This book is missing large portions, even full chapters. I know this book nearly word for word, it is my favorite book. So I know what is missing. Today I checked against a print copy, and 40% of chapters 11 thru 16 are missing!! I won’t finish it, and am returning it now. It makes me wonder how many other books are frauds... I can’t believe in any recording now. I am cancelling my membership.

Historia
"It doesn't take an Einstein to understand modern physics," says Professor Wolfson at the outset of these 24 lectures on what may be the most important subjects in the universe: relativity and quantum physics. Both have reputations for complexity. But the basic ideas behind them are, in fact, simple and comprehensible by anyone. These dynamic and illuminating lectures begin with a brief overview of theories of physical reality starting with Aristotle and culminating in Newtonian or "classical" physics.
