Historia
Just as he did in Healing Words, the groundbreaking book that propelled him into the public consciousness, Larry Dossey uses cutting-edge science to prove the value of what had long been considered spiritual mumbo-jumbo. This is a book for the skeptical mind, but it's also for the believer's heart-because its author possesses the rare gift of having both.

If it were possible to give negative stars....
Revisado: 12-29-15
This book was a waste of the narrator's breath. I couldn't even finish the book it was so bad. It was supposed to be about premonitions but it wasn't. I wish I had a premonition about how bad it was going to be so I could have saved myself the credit!

Historia
This transcendent story follows four college friends who move to New York City, buoyed by ambition: Willem, an aspiring actor; JB, an artist; Malcolm, an architect; and, at the center, Jude, a withdrawn, brilliant attorney haunted by an unspeakable past. Through decades of shared and separate lives, Jude’s suffering - and its impact on those who love him - raises questions about the limits of human endurance, the possibility for redemption, and the meaning of friendship.

A must listen!
Revisado: 12-29-15
You won't want to keep listening but you'll have to. This story is so haunting, so full of sadness and despair, that at times you will have to walk away. The main character is so complex and real it's hard to believe this isn't a memoir. The performance was exceptional. A long book but so well read and captivating that you will forgive the extra time spent making it that way. A tragic story with beautiful moments of love and compassion.
