Loved the narration. The story was fun if not predictable. And I really loved the supporting cast.

I wanted to like this audio so much. But the story fell flat for me and I wanted more romance. Loved Robbie.

I was hooked from the first chapter what a unique and fun and emotional story! Loved that most of the book was in 1st POV.

Right off the bat, I loved the narrators. Dang, Brett was one dirty talking football coach! And Aubrey was super likable and kicked butt working a job in a "man's" world. While both of them had some internal issues, they both grew throughout the story. They also had some wonderful chemistry. The Playbook covered several months, and while I wanted both the characters to be happy and have their HEA, I appreciated that Elliot made us wait for it. I ended up liking the time it took for the two of them to get their shit together.

Where We Belong was a gut-wrenching story about two soul mates finding their way back to one another. It was emotional and deep and beautifully written.

The narration was outstanding. The narrators had me feeling everything the book wanted me to feel. Arden and Prescott are now added to me slow growing "top narrators" list.

Not only did this book break out all the feels, it was engaging and kept me thinking just one more chapter.

I fell into this book right from the start. I wanted to listen to Wicked all the time. I really liked Ivy, she was brave and kicked butt where ever she went. She had a hard time letting people in, it was hard to connect to her...at times. I also loved Ren. He was a perfect match for Ivy and made the story exceptionally swoon worthy. But I think the story stealer was Tink. He had me cracking up so many times.

I wish it wouldn't have taken me so long to read this book. Everything by Armentrout is amazing, so I should be surprised how much this paranormal romance rocked. I really hope to read/listen to Torn, book two soon, as it recently released.

I really, really wanted to love Moonshot. It pains me to write that I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I liked the book but there as just a slight disconnect for me. I liked the characters, the theme, and the narrator. But I didn't love the pace and the book covered two different time periods. Normally, I wouldn't mind this, but I didn't like it here. At times, the pacing was just slow.

The characters were just wonderful. They felt real and they were fun, complex but easy to connect to. There were so many supporting characters, but it was easy to keep them all straight since they were all so different from one another.

The world KA created was also extremely unique. The plot, while it was very complex, was enjoyable and kept me on my toes when I least expected it. But, that brings me to my last point...

Like all of the KA books I've read/listened too, they are a bit long. KA is such a descriptive writer. Her books seem to be a little too long. I wouldn't say I'm bored with the book, but there are parts where it feels more like fluff and I get restless. I got to this part at the 60-75% mark, but then shit hit the fan and it the story was an emotional shit storm of excitement, sadness and it was unbelievably good.

This book bummed me out.

First Impressions: I quickly noticed that the chapters in Chasing Spring were really short, making it hard to really get into the story before switching POVs (there were three, two first-person present and one third-person).

I want to state here, for the record: that I have loved every R.S. Grey book I've read so far, so my expectations were high for Chasing Spring.

Then I really got into the book...and things did not get better. After awhile I really didn't like the narrators. Their Texas twang just felt forced.

But what got me the most, was how infuriating the main character, Lilah was. You know those books where the character just makes dumb decisions and assumptions after another? That was this book.

Final thoughts: This book...this book bummed me out. I wanted so much more from it. But it just fell flat for me.

Easy book to love!

Easy Love was such an easy book to love! So right off the bat, I loved both Kate and Eli. I love books that feature two great characters that are wonderful on their own. And then when you pair them together, you get something even sweeter. That was Kate and Eli.

The story was quick, and while it was a somewhat short audio, a lot happened. There was no slow point in the story which kept me engaged in the story. The plot points were interesting, while not totally unique, the author put her twist on them.

I have to mention all the secondary characters. AWESOME. I loved them all and can't wait for all of the Boudreaux Family's stories. Currently, there is four in total, but there are six Boudreaux siblings, so...hopefully there are more.

Lastly, the narration was great. Sebastian York is one of my favorite narrators. While this was my first audio featuring Rachel Fulginiti, I want to find more books narrated by her. They made a great team.
