Cool story but Jake is still an awful character.

I really like the story and Ophelia and fhessiah are awesome characters. Berry is an annoying person that shoulda been killed off. Jake is still the epitome of corny. His dialogue is like the most awful of hallmark movies. I feel uncomfortable for him whenever he speaks.

Love the story but I hate Jake

The story is entertaining and the main female characters are great. Jake, the hero, is the all time corniest harem protagonist. If he was a mute I’d give this 5⭐️ across the board. I’m not sure if I made it clear how cringey everything he says is.

This is the least of the series by a wide margin

I’m not gonna give all the reasons I did not enjoy this book because I would be getting into spoilers. I have enjoyed my time listening to this series until this one. I kept looking at the time left kinda hoping for this to be over.

Not the worst

I have a difficult time not finishing a series that I start but there were a few times I thought about stopping this one. The story isn’t bad but the whole family is so unlikeable. I just can’t root for them. I can’t stop thinking about how much I hate each member of this family.

I listen to audiobooks in work when I’m not supposed to so I have to listen to the 20 hours of stats, which I detest. The story itself I have no problems with. I like everything about the story and hope that it is a 20 book series.

Good story,too much character sheets

I like the series and will continue reading but this book is over 30 hours but it seems 20 of the hours are a review of character sheets. It’s way too much and it causes me to lose interest in a great store.

Good story but….

I like the series overall but I can do without the reading of each character’s stats. It takes so long to get through every time someone has a stat change. The whole list of the persons skills and stats is mind boggling. I have to fast forward every time it happens. The book could be cut to 10 hrs without all the nonsense.

It gets goofier and goofier

I liked the series at first but the conversations between Mike and BT are awful and absurd. A serious moment in the series could be happening and you get awkward exchanges attempting humor between the main characters. It takes away from the story.

Weakest book of a great series

I really enjoy this story but I was very disappointed in this book. I haven’t been this excited for a book in a while and I didn’t like where the story went. I will still buy volume 5 based on how strong the first 3 were.
