Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Phenomenal!
Revisado: 01-12-19
This book popped up in my recommendations, and honestly I'm not a fan of military books, documentaries and movies, so I was hesitant to purchase it. I am so glad that I ignored my initial thoughts and decided to give it a listen. Once I started the book, I found it hard to turn off and could not wait until I had extra time to continue listening. David's story is inspiring and has ignited a fire in me that I thought was never possible! Anyone who needs a swift kick in the pants should read this book NOW! Overall, a phenomenal book! I look forward to seeing it played out on the big screen in the near future, which I'm almost certain will happen! :)

Historia
Empaths are highly sensitive people who can “feel” what others are experiencing, even if the other person does not share information verbally. It’s a unique gift, but it can also be a torment. The world of an empath can be a roller coaster of emotions - from a revelation to anxiety, from feeling blessed to being overwhelmed and depressed. So how does one stop running away from this gift and instead turn it into a fulfilling blessing for yourself and the people around you?

Great but too short!
Revisado: 12-29-18
I'm just now starting to research the characteristics of empaths, so I wanted something that was clear and easy to understand. While most of the information presented in the book can be found just about everywhere on the internet, this book is well organized and straightforward which makes it worth the read. The only con is that it is too short and could have gone a bit more in-depth. Overall, a great informative read!
