Historia
A [Mage] team from Wistram Academy is dogging Pisces, Ceria, Ksmvr, and Yvlon's steps, with revenge in mind. However, adventurers must work, and the Horns have been called on as security for an ambitious project: building a road past the Bloodfields towards the rest of southern Izril. There is more to the world than just Liscor, however. Players of Celum are coming to Invrisil with a splash. There are [Knights] from Terandria roaming around Izril after their battle with the Witch of Webs, and they have heard tell of a mysterious slayer of Goblins.

the emotional toll is almost too much
Revisado: 11-17-24
Does pirateaba have a PhD in emotional torture? I don't know how she does it, from almost breaking a character to everything on the last half of this book, it's almost too much. And I love it

Historia
Wildlife and monsters have been stirred from their homes by intruders, both in the continent of Chandrar and the Empire of Tiqr, led by Nsiia, the Empress of Beasts, and in Liscor's dungeon, where a certain skeleton continues to help both friend and foes in the only way he knows how. In Liscor, the election will result in a new group of leaders for the city. But is that for the better or worse?

my heart strings...
Revisado: 09-16-24
That was so close... Pirateaba almost broke me in this one.
As always, excellent everything, from the author from the narrator, I couldn't ask for more.

good continuation of the story
Revisado: 08-22-24
I've enjoyed this as a light read and have enjoyed the progressive but this one felt a little more juvenile to me. An odd quirk on this but I feel like there's been some regression and it just grated on me. Otherwise I can't wait for the final title.
My only complaint is again on the narrator, Erica Mairy. I would greatly appreciate if she could work on her s's and de-ess the recording otherwise. I really have to modify the EQ so the s's don't hurt my ears, it's just bad and hadn't improved over the last five books.

Historia
All the world's a stage...even when you're teleported to a new world. Struggling actress Cara O'Sullivan was walking down the street of Galway one moment, and the next, she was in an ancient tomb in a faraway world. Alone in the dark with her cell phone as her last tenuous connection to home, Cara sings her favorite song. To her astonishment, her song casts a spell of light into the world...and from the depths, something hears her. Challenged by a ghostly knight, a tragic necromancer, and hordes of undead, can a young woman who does not believe in heroes become one herself?

Beautiful, just so excellent. Pirate Aba is excellent at story telling and works building and Andrea Parsneau is a master at her craft and narration.

Historia
Emma made it out of Hub Two, but now she’s faced with the next set of Trials. And this time, they will "involve" combat. Whatever that’s supposed to mean. Thankfully, she’s not going in alone. Instead, she’ll be facing the Trials together with her little gang of misfits. At least maybe they’ll keep her from taking any more stupid risks, right? After all, there are still many unanswered questions about the Realm of Crystals. All they have to go by is sparse information provided by the mysterious AIs linked to their eye-crystals. But can those really be trusted?

Needs a new narrator, again
Revisado: 01-01-23
I like the story, it's young adult and moves at a proper pace. However the audio track is in serious need of de-essing. the sharp s' are incredibly harsh and distracting Please Ms. Maity, fix the pronunciation or have the audio processed to make it more audible.
