Terrible Narrator
Revisado: 01-06-24
I got a few chapters in when the narrator tried to imitate the voice of Rusty Yates. instead of sounding masculine, she sounded like she was a woman dressed in a negligee trying to elicit a good time. It was horrible. Just read the book

It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Nice to Finally Hear the Truth
Revisado: 01-19-23
Very well written and read by Prince Harry. It is nice to know the truth instead of tabloid nonsense. His love and devotion to Meghan and their children is unprecedented and I am sure his mother is very proud of the honorable, honest family man he has become.

Good but disappointing
Revisado: 11-16-22
I enjoyed the book. Hunter is candid about his struggles and his love for his brother and family. But, one thing struck me as profoundly disappointing. Hunter glances over the fact that he fathered a child while he was on a crack binge. Paternity tests have proven it and yet this family, this loving, strong family, doesn't acknowledge the little girl's existence. She is a Biden. The circumstances around her conception and life are not her fault. She deserves to be in the family fold. It is disappointing that she isn't.

OUTSTANDING!!
Revisado: 12-09-21
I usually limit my listening to my hour long daily commute to work but I couldn't wait for this one. I have been a fan of Ms. Gless for a very long time and waited with excited anticipation for her memoir. Once I turned it on, I couldn't stop and spent the entire day happily listening to Sharon tell her most intimate stories. Sharon is hilarious, poignant, caring, genuine and amazing. I loved every minute of it. Best book ever!

Couldn't get through it
Revisado: 09-29-21
I legitimately tried to listen to this entire book. I got to about chapter 13 and just could not stand the monotone narrator any longer. I Googled how the story ends because I could not stand to listen to it anymore. It's like she thinks she's reading to a group of 5 year olds and has to annunciate every single word with zero emotion. Horrible.

Terrible Narration
Revisado: 08-17-21
I don't mean to bag on Kyle Tait but he made the book very difficult to listen to. While the subject matter is very interesting, especially for someone with a background in rescue, it is 100% not necessary for the narrator to take a dramatic pause after every 5th word. I feel like I could have gotten through this book in half the time if he had just read it. It was very frustrating and I will be avoiding him in the future, no matter how interesting the book may be. He just ruined it.

Phenomenal
Revisado: 07-13-20
I cannot recommend this book enough. Normally, I only listen to audio books on my hour and a half drive to and from work. But, I could not turn this one off and spent the weekend finishing it. It is a wonderful story with strong visualization. Cassandra Campbell does an amazing job voicing the characters and telling the story. If this book is not already on it's way to being a movie, it should be. Truly great.
