The story line circling around to timeless Truth
Revisado: 05-08-24
Story was rich and unique in description!
It took me a few chapters to switch to the viewpoint of Llew speaking instead of Tegid.

Simply EXCELLENT narration!
Revisado: 03-03-24
After my initial adjustment to the author's main narrator (from Lewis in Book 1 to Tegid in Book 2) I became enthralled with the obvious talent of the narrator to express the characters as written. Love the story and have read it twice before.... Lawhead is a genius with celtic story crafting.

Historia
Lewis Gillies is an American graduate student in Oxford who should be getting on with his life. Yet for some reason, he finds himself speeding north with his roommate Simon on a lark — half-heartedly searching for a long-extinct creature allegedly spotted in a misty glen in Scotland. Expecting little more than a weekend diversion, Lewis accidently crosses through a mystical gateway where two worlds meet: into the time-between-times, as the ancient Celts called it.

Historia
The Bodies of Others is about how we came to the harrowing civilizational crossroads at which we find ourselves—engaged in a war against vast impersonal forces with limitless power over our lives and which threaten the freedoms we have always taken for granted. In her most provocative book yet, Dr. Naomi Wolf shows how these forces—from Big Tech and Big Pharma to the CCP and our oligarchical elites—seized upon two years of COVID-19 panic in sinister new ways, to not only undermine our republic but to fundamentally reorient human relations.

Revisado: 07-18-23
Listening to the news, copied over and over from network to network just didn't give me the info, the facts, the statistics. This book did and I'm following Dr. Wolff on Telegram now because she has the right resources.
A good place to start educating yourself about this plandemic and also about the world as it is now.

Narrative could have been better.
Revisado: 04-22-23
I truly enjoyed the story content. The narration was not so nice.
To Winona: try not to be discouraged by the reviews. Look at them as a challenge to do better. More practice, patience, pronunciation training will help. May God bless you as you seek to please Him.

Drawing on the story of Hosea & Gomer in gripping detail. I think there’s a bit of Helen in each of us, isn’t there?

Once again it just stops
Revisado: 09-14-21
After the first book leaves you hanging, wondering what happens next, book 2 skips 10+ years ahead, never answering that question. Then, as with the first book, it just stops. VERY disappointed! Wish I could get my credits back.
