I enjoy these stories, the personalities of the characters, and the narrator.

I feel like I’m getting together with old friends again each time I listen.
I like guessing through the mysteries and then hearing the solutions. I like the bits of period trivia as part of the story.

I wasn't ready to leave John Pickett, so I put off listening to this title.
I'm glad I changed my mind. The story was fun. The characters were lovely (very likable).
I smiled and even LOL a few times.
It's another great story read by the same great narrator.
I will listen through this one, again.

Relatable, humble, sometimes humorous, gently drawing, possibly convicting personal life stories. It was encouraging and blessed to listen as the author shares some of his journey to an ongoing intimate relationship with the Lord. I will listen again.

Began reading/listening to this series over 30 years ago. I return to it every few years. The performance by Barbara Rosenblatt just adds to the fun. Writing this review after probably my 10th time starting at the beginning, again. It really is just as enjoyable as the first time.
