Steven Saylor is a great author!

I love the way he weaves a decency into his story lines. All of his books are entertaining stories that are also educational. I’ve read all of them and constantly watch for more of his publications.

Honor among journalists. Ronan did a great job on this book.

I was so wrong. I’ve had my disgruntled opinions about Ronan’s previous reporting. After reading this book and understanding what levels he reached to keep integrity in his investigations, I’m ashamed of myself. This man reflects the highest of integrity in his reporting. If all journalists were at this quality in their articles or books our country would be in a better place. Thank you Ronan for this entertaining story. I hope you continue with these types of investigations!

Can we expect a story of the White House anytime soon?

Well written but has a strong bias.

This book is was very informative on how influential Steve Bannon has been over the past 25 years. He's behind Whitewater & Benghazi investigation, Clinton impeachment & most anything negative about the Clinton's. Joshua makes it very clear that Bannon wanted to make people want to vomit upon hearing H. Clinton's name. What strikes me about the entire book is that it is written as though Joshua admires such abhorrent behavior. The master manipulation of a man crushing a good person like a bug is not something to be admired. One man singlehandedly orchestrated a slanderous cout against a great woman. Other than that aspect of the book Joshua did a great job of conveying how he went about doing it & the thought process behind it. I gave 0?stars because I couldn't score it in that manner. I can say he did a great job writing it. Of course audible wouldn't let me leave the stars blank. I don't like to fill out reviews to those who won't let me skip one or the other. That's why I usually skip them.

I was a fan of Maxell Maltz and was thrilled to find this book. I did many miraculous things with my imagination back in the 70s. I know the mind is powerful. I was looking for The audible version of Pyscho Cybernetics. The one I found was updated & very difficult to listen to. I was looking for the original version when I found this book. Loved it. Thank you for bringing me back to my original philosophies & refreshing my power over my mind. This has restored me.

Entertaining and educational

This book gives the background of Roma from a tiny village, a republic on the brink of the empire. Empire is the next book and is more enjoyable after reading this one. Saylor brings a personal touch to his books. It is a highly suggested read for anyone that wants to learn the history of Rome. I've read all of the Gordianus the finder books too. Loved all of them.
