Enjoyable
Revisado: 06-20-23
The story was good, the narration was good. Overall I very much enjoyed the entire thing but I don’t have much to say that has not already been said in other reviews.

Historia
The incomparable master of the legal thriller takes us deeper into the labyrinth that is the American justice system, always drawing us in with an irresistible hook, pulling the thread of tension tighter and tighter, and then knocking us out with a conclusion that's never "by the book". Maybe that's why, after more than 20 years of consecutive number-one New York Times best sellers, a new novel by America's favorite storyteller is still a major publishing event.

A Favorite Author
Revisado: 05-02-22
John Grisham is one of my favorite authors. So of course I loved the book itself, but the performance was also fantastic. I unfortunately get easily annoyed and frustrated by "mouth noises" but there were none in this performance. Also the characters were well voiced for their personalities.

Historia
Little Women itself “has been read as a romance or as a quest, or both. It has been read as a family drama that validates virtue over wealth.” Little Women has been read “as a means of escaping that life by women who knew its gender constraints only too well.” Alcott “combines many conventions of the sentimental novel with crucial ingredients of Romantic children's fiction, creating a new form of which Little Women is a unique model.”

Loved the books, but the narrator was lacking
Revisado: 10-09-21
The books themselves are fantastic and worth reading! However the narration was a bit disappointing. Through the first 3 books there were several times that 2 or 3 words were repeated. It was so small that at first I thought something was wrong with my phone. Like maybe I was accidentally hitting the back button occasionally or something. But by the time the last book came around it was so bad that I realized it was the narrator. There is also a lot of clicking in the recording of the last book.

Great book
Revisado: 11-09-18
This is a great book that I originally read in my childhood. When I saw it on audible, I just knew I would enjoy it again. The story progresses along nicely. It is written in a way that makes it easy to relate to the main character, and will cause you to fall in love with the arctic over and over again!

In The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, Amy mines her past for stories about her teenage years, her family, relationships, and sex and shares the experiences that have shaped who she is - a woman with the courage to bare her soul to stand up for what she believes in, all while making us laugh. Down to earth and relatable, frank and unapologetic, Amy Schumer is one of us: She relies on her sister for advice, still hangs out with her high school pals, and continues to navigate the ever-changing boundaries in love, work, and life.

Best book I've listened to!
Revisado: 09-06-17
I absolutely loved this book! Amy Shumer was a great narrator. I never felt like I was listening to a book. I felt like I was having a conversation, like a friend was telling me a story about her weekend. It was amazing. There is something relatable for every woman, and for every man that has a woman he cares about! The story is heartbreaking and hilarious at the same time. I many times found myself crying in pain for her while I was laughing. AMAZING!!!

great story, terrible reading!
Revisado: 08-09-17
I loved the story, it has taken me months to get to the end, mostly because I only have a few minutes a day available to listen. But the story was definitely worth it and kept me interested. The reader however was terrible. He stumbled over words and there was someone coughing constantly in the background. I listen to a lot of audio books and this was by far the worst recording of any book I have listened to. The only reason I finished it is because the story was that good.
