Historia
Twila thinks everything is going to be fun and games even though she has one daughter, two nieces, and one mischievous aunt to contend with. She's focused on cooking and having a good time...until a roving troupe of renaissance performers make camp on the Winchester property and trouble starts brewing. When the head of the group starts making predictions - and, unfortunately, gets left behind - Twila has her hands full.

Nothing Magical
Revisado: 05-06-18
First time I am listening to this series and I was quite bored cos they are supposed to be witches but nothing witchy happened at all.. I purchased it cos I was looking to hear witchy stuff so it kind of defeated the purpose.. :(

Historia
Maggie is a 17-year-old girl who's had a bad year. She was smart and on track, but her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has. Then she meets Caleb. She saves his life and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing, but she's supposed to be on her way to a date with his cousin. Things change when they touch, sparks ignite.

Not overly exciting..

I like the idea of the story about people with powers and the imprinting and remaining in contact etc.. quite interesting.. But I find that there was too much love-making.. I don't mean sex.. there's no sex involved but the lovey-dovey stuff was quite draggy but still tolerable.. But what really put me off was the overuse of the word "sweetly".. initially, it was fine.. then it started appearing more and more until every time I hear it, I wanted to strangle myself or pull out my hair.. But I made myself listen through the book as like I said, I like the idea and the plot was interesting.. and the way the narrator pronounced "sweetly" made me even more annoyed.. The narrator's voice was nice and I'm sure she did a great job.. but cos she said "sweetly" like in a sickly sweet way.. I blame the author for that because, if the word hadn't been so overused, it would have sounded fine.. Ending of the book was weird to me as well.. it just ended like that.. No cliff hanger and not much of a conclusion.. I recommend this book for people who are crazy about romance novels and don't mind draggy love scenes.. but if u are like me(my mind glazed over almost every time during the love-making), then I don't recommend it..
