Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

One of the best books I've read in years!
Revisado: 05-10-14
I was looking for a new series, and with all the good reviews, decided to give this a try. At first I didn't understand the acclaim it got. You get a lot thrown at you right away, and it can be confusing until you get further details. I found that it took me probably half of the book to finally get addicted to it. There is a LOT of information, and characters, and it bounces around in time a bit. But it's all worth it. I can't say much more that others haven't already said. I already finished book two, now to wait impatiently for the next one!

Historia
Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can.

Such a disappointment...
Revisado: 04-04-14
After rushing through the first 3 books I could hardly wait to see how this story ended. As with most of the other reviews that I now see (I didn't look ahead of time in case of spoilers) I was extremely disappointed. I took the first books as they were, written by someone young and overlooked the fact that some of it was predictable, and slightly juvenile in parts (I often wanted to smack eragon) but the overall story was still good and I liked it well enough. This last book though, DRAGS ON. The vault of souls was so predictable... and then the final battle is so trivial compared to the story as a whole, there's just no impact when it happens. And then the aftermath, which I found interesting, but confusing in the story. And the ending... oh god. It feels like it got chopped off. Drag out the whole thing for an hour and then BAM done and leaving everything all open ended and dissatisfying. Kind of sad that the first books were better than the last two. I feel like he lost his sense of creativity in the whole process...

Not bad...

Great to test the program, see if it works for you. It was very repetitive throughout the lesson which was effective and worked. I can remember most of what they taught, and I understood the conversation at the end when repeated. I am definitely going to go through this again and on to the rest!

Visit the magical animal world of Brian Jacques in this thrilling prequel to Redwall. Long before the abbey of Redwall is built, the land is known simply as Mossflower, a lush woodland and happy home to all. That is, until Tsarmina, a cruel wildcat queen who demands obedience and offers the castle's dungeon to those who defy her, comes along. Brian Jacques' tales of courageous heroes and deliciously hateful villains have captivated countless readers.
